'Dark Lies the Island' Secures International Sales Deal with Independent Film Company
The film is directed by Ian Fitzgibbon, written by Kevin Barry and based on characters he created for his own short story collection Whole Cigarettes Newport, Lies the Island follows the characters in a long-standing family feud in a small Irish town over the course of a week.
The deal will provide the feature with distribution opportunities worldwide and has been positively supported by IFC Managing Director Cheap Cigarettes Wholesale, Andrew Orr who said:
