SEOUL Josh Smith Jersey , July 19 (Xinhua) -- The new South Korean government underPresident Moon Jae-in mulled pushing for a completedenuclearization and a peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.
It was unveiled on Wednesday in a five-year plan under the newadministration, which was inaugurated on May 10, according to thepresidential Blue House.
Under the plan, the Moon government will draw up comprehensivemeasures for negotiations on the denuclearized peninsula, with anaim of reaching an agreement to the complete denuclearization by2020. Moon's five-year term was scheduled to end in May 2022.
The new government will push for the resumption ofdenuclearization dialogue Ersan Ilyasova Jersey , including the six-party talks whichinvolve South Korea, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK), China, the United States, Russia and Japan. Theaid-for-denuclearization talks have been suspended since late2008.
The Moon-led government vowed to achieve the DPRK'sdenuclearization through all available tools Dwight Howard Jersey , including sanctionsand dialogue, while deterring Pyongyang's further provocationsbased on the firm South Korea-U.S. alliance and in cooperation withthe international community.
Depending on the progress that would be made at thedenuclearization talks, South Korea will push for negotiations onthe establishment of a peace regime on the peninsula to stablymanage the peace regime during the last stage of completedenuclearization.
For that, South Korea planned to draw up a roadmap within thisyear.
Meanwhile, President Moon was ready to resume an economiccooperation with the DPRK Dominique Wilkins Jersey , while pursuing a so-called "new economicroadmap on the Korean Peninsula" as part of growth engines of theeconomy.
Moon was widely forecast to inherit the "Sunshine Policy" ofengagement with Pyongyang to improve inter-Korean relations
